In the second quarter of 2025, the geolocation games category on Android in Nigeria showcased varying levels of activity and engagement. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, highlights the performance trends of the top five games in this category.

Kage: Search, Earn, Repeat saw an interesting pattern in its weekly downloads. Starting with modest numbers, there was a significant spike in mid-May with downloads reaching 629. Despite zero revenue, the game maintained a notable user base, with active users fluctuating from a high of around 49.7K at the beginning of the quarter to about 14.9K by the end.

STEPN, while not generating revenue, showed a gradual increase in downloads towards the end of the quarter, reaching 43 in the last week of June. The app's active user count remained relatively stable, hovering around 160 to 175 throughout the period.
